An all-new super club, Cocoon, recently opened on the 31st floor of the ABSA building in Cape Town’s cosmopolitan CBD. The official launch is set to take place on Saturday, 14 October. With the sole purpose of reviving the Cape Town nightlife by bringing back the classic glamour of fondly missed entertainment institutions, Cocoon will take guests to a new level of high energy nightlife.

Located on the 31st floor the of ABSA building, comprising of East and West wings, Cocoon overlooks the city with unsurpassed views of the mountain, harbour, V&A Waterfront and city bowl. Its glass casing and incandescent chandeliers add expressions of light refractions throughout, reflecting the golden glow of the surrounding city lights.

Having recently undergone a R10million refurbishment the 830 sqm venue is fitted with lavish lounge seating and state-of-the-art contemporary finishes throughout. The top end sound and lighting features ensure that the choice of varying music genres in the East and West wings offer guests a two-in-one club experience.

The venue also lends itself ideally to daylight, gorgeous evening-sunset and glistening night time events. Private and corporate functions can make use of the multifaced venue layout for larger or more intimate gatherings – birthdays, engagement parties, product and brand launches, workshops and year-end celebrations.

This summer, Cocoon will offer guests exciting collaborations with European and other international nightclubs and DJ’s. Major upcoming events being hosted at Cocoon include the Red Carpet Fashion Show 2017 taking place on 2 December and the Golden Cocoon NYE party.

Table bookings for personalised VIP bottle service is highly recommended in advance, contactable on 021 421 0581.
